CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD Summary As an Aircraft Mechanic II, you are responsible for maintenance of C-12 aircraft including servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Responsibilities

  1. Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, including repairs, modifies aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.
  2. Accomplishes inspections including, but not limited to preflight, thru-flight, basic post-flight, operational, and phase inspections.
  3. Troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform necessary corrective actions.
  4. Operates and maintains ground support equipment and performs all tasks associated with ground movement of aircraft.
  5. Follows all safety procedures and practices established by the Company and regulatory bodies.
  6. Washes, waxes, cleans, and maintains the exterior and interior of aircraft.
  7. Serves as a point of contact with the Quality Assurance Representative and greets visitors.
  8. Advises management of problems that may delay scheduled delivery of aircraft to customers.
  9. Annotates maintenance actions in aircraft records/forms and completes associated Management Information System entries in a timely and accurate manner.
  10. Performs other duties related to the occupational field as assigned to include TDY and travel.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum of 2 years aircraft maintenance experience; including 1 year maintaining King Air/1900 Airliner series aircraft.
  2. FAA A&P certificate.
  3. Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.
  4. Ability to work the day shift, swing shift, night shift, and/or weekend shift as required.
  5. Ability to obtain clearance to assigned location including medical clearance and visa.
  6. The ability to read, interpret, and comprehend schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and technical publications is required.
  7. Sitting, standing, kneeling, crawling, and occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
  8. Must be able to obtain a flight line driver’s license.
  9. Ability to read, write, and speak clearly and concisely in English.
