Job Title: Retail Sales Assistant

Location: Nationwide (see Open Positions report for specific locations)

Salary: R 5,500 + Commission

Employment Type: Permanent

Dress Code: Casual

Job Description

We are seeking Retail Sales Assistants to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be socially mature, extroverted, and have excellent sales and customer service skills. This role involves assisting customers in-store, providing product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one customer service and support.

Assist customers with product selection and recommendations.

Achieve sales targets and contribute to store performance.

Handle cash-ups, stock taking, and inventory management.

Open and close the store as required.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.

Requirements

Experience:

1+ year of sales experience (preferably in a one-on-one customer service role).

Experience in stock taking, cash-ups, and opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications:

Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.

Skills:

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Computer literate (Microsoft Office and POS systems).

Sales-driven with a passion for meeting targets.

Personality:

Extroverted, energetic, and mature.

Outgoing, self-motivated, and growth-oriented.

Other:

Must have reliable transportation (no public transport).

Must be comfortable discussing sensitive topics in a professional manner.

Additional Information

Working Hours: Shift work (details discussed during the interview).

Required Checks: Criminal and ITC checks will be conducted.

Interview Process: One face-to-face interview.

Training: Provided.

Start Date: ASAP (dependent on location).
