Job Responsibilities:
- ETL Development: Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to transform, load, and manage large datasets efficiently.
- SQL Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and indexing strategies to enhance database performance.
- Data Pipeline Management: Implement robust data pipelines to extract data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and high availability.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and fine-tune database performance, query execution, and SSIS package efficiency for large-scale data processing.
- Data Modeling & Warehousing: Apply dimensional modeling techniques (Star/Snowflake schemas) and design scalable data warehouses to support analytical workloads.
- Power BI Development: Build interactive dashboards and advanced visualizations for business intelligence reporting.
- Data Governance & Quality: Enforce data validation rules, implement error handling mechanisms in SSIS, and ensure compliance with data security best practices.
- Banking Domain Expertise (Preferred): Work with customer, deposits, loans, and card data models, applying domain knowledge to optimize data solutions.
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in SQL Server (SSMS 2021+), SSIS, and ETL development.
- Experience in query optimization, indexing strategies, and database performance tuning.
- Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin) and dimensional modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality checks, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
