A techno-commercial IT sales role combines technical expertise with sales skills to effectively promote and sell IT products or services to businesses. Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Client Needs: Conduct thorough research to understand client requirements, challenges, and pain points in the IT domain.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with customer to design customized IT solutions tailored to meet client needs.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively promote IT products or services to target clients. Selling of Laptops, desktops, Servers, Storage and others IT products to potential contacts.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication and meetings.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of IT solutions.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and pricing to close sales deals while ensuring profitability.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Informational Technology. A technical background in IT or computer science is highly desirable.
  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in IT sales or related fields with a strong understanding of sales techniques and methodologies.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT products, services, and solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, understand their needs, and articulate value propositions.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to close deals and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Result Orientation: Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements and market conditions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to address client challenges and overcome objections during the sales process.
