Account Manager - Liabilities Banking

Posted On: 19 Dec, 2023 Type: Permanent Job Category: Liabilities Banking The incumbent’s core responsibilities will be to provide a timely, efficient and personalized service to a selected group of non-individual customers with the aim of increasing the number of non-individual customers, deposits portfolio, and generating more revenue for the Liabilities Banking Group.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Profile existing non-individual clients to identify their banking requirements and introduce them to appropriate new products and services.
  • Be responsible for acquiring new non-individual clients.
  • Maintain regular contact with LBG customers through telephone calls or personal visits.
  • Build and deepen relationships with existing LBG Customers to achieve an increase in share of wallet and revenues.
  • Achieve and maintain monthly and yearly deposits and new accounts targets, follow up on achievements, and take corrective action whenever needed to keep sales targets on track.
  • Cross-sell other SIB Products and Services to LBG Customers and refer business to other units.
  • Negotiate with customers to deliver the most favorable financial terms for the Bank while maintaining competitiveness within the market.
  • Monitor the performance of client accounts to ensure they meet client and bank needs.
  • Benchmark SIB product/service features and performance against local competitors to ensure competitiveness and alignment with non-individual customer expectations.
  • Pay attention to all audit observations.
  • Ensure adherence to all Bank's policies and procedures and report deviations to immediate supervisor/manager.
  • Exercise financial responsibilities as established by Management for this position.
  • Work according to established procedures within the bank's policies, making decisions for matters within the scope of the position and referring major decisions to higher levels for further discussion and approval.

  • Sound knowledge of Islamic Banking principles
Minimum 7 years’ experience within the banking industry with intensive banking knowledge, leadership skills, and proven financial performance records.

Language Skills:

  • Strong in both oral and written English and Arabic
