We can offer you the following tasks: Job Purpose: Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and targeting potential customers, developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, and overseeing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals. The role involves understanding customer needs, presenting product solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Sales Manager analyzes market trends, monitors competitor activity, and works closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales strategies with overall business goals. Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies and plans for key accounts to meet personal and team sales targets.
- Maintain detailed profiles on key customers, including customer capacity, process information, products used, demand volumes, competitor share information, expansion plans, and organizational structure.
- Educate key account customers on MAN turbomachinery applications and various New Solutions Applications.
- Coordinate internal activities with the local organization and product centers as required, ensuring projects are completed to the customer's satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends and monitor competitor profiles to fine-tune sales and marketing strategies.
- Initiate market development efforts to expand the customer base and establish business operations in untapped markets.
- Manage the entire sales and marketing process, including pre-qualification of turbomachinery, pre-bid discussions, bid preparation, post-bid discussions, and commercial/price negotiations with customers.
- Formulate strategic partnerships with large OEMs and solution providers to tap into market potential.
- Create and maintain detailed account plans and utilize CRM systems to document all account activities.
- Experience in the turbomachinery industry, including compressors, screw compressors, etc.
- Strong knowledge of the Oil & Gas, Steel, and Industrial Gases industries.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, driving high performance and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships.
- Focused on achieving goals and delivering measurable results.
- Thorough knowledge of MAN turbomachinery product range and New Solutions Applications.
- Experience in handling a broad spectrum of customers, including those in the Oil & Gas, Steel, and Fertilizer sectors.
- Competency in understanding and managing complex techno-commercial tendering requirements for major compressor/rotary equipment customers.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent coordination, organization, and communication skills in a highly dynamic environment.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in analyzing information and developing effective strategies.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with strong attention to detail and ownership.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and the MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial) or a related field; a business degree is also acceptable.
- An MBA in Marketing/Sales is an added advantage.
- At least 8-12 years of related experience with a proven track record in the sales of turbomachinery (centrifugal compressor background with gas applications).
- Experience working with large OEM compressors or rotating equipment manufacturing companies.
