Business Analyst (Data & AI, Arabic Speaker) Location: Doha, Qatar Onsite Experience: 5+ years Languages: English and Arabic Mandatory
Role Description:
The Business Analyst (Data & AI) is an integral part of the team responsible for the delivery of Data & analytics solutions, modern data platform, and other data products. The position requires a deep understanding of BI/analytics solutions, data integration, data models, reporting, dashboarding, self-service BI, and data storytelling. You must have proven expertise in requirement elicitation techniques and will support the project team in defining features and functionalities, represent business stakeholders' interests by defining user stories, and recommend use cases for a modern data platform, data warehouse, and BI solution. Prepare specification documents, business requirement documents, and user stories. Ensure that the product built is valuable to the business, manage and prioritize the backlog. Organize the sprint backlog, ensure user stories are ready for sprint planning, and validate stories throughout a sprint to confirm requirements meet the Product Owner's expectations. Must be comfortable working in both waterfall or agile approaches depending on specific project needs.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, business analytics, or a related field.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a business analyst role.
- Must have worked on at least three business intelligence, data warehousing, or modern data platform projects.
- Strong understanding of business intelligence solutions, data warehousing, data storytelling, and self-service BI.
- Experience in requirements gathering and developing business requirement documents.
- Superior writing skills with a high degree of producing concise, structured, and very well-written stories and/or business specification documents.
