We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Hostess to join our award-winning Daylife destination, Azure Beach Club. Located in the heart of Dubai within the bustling JBR area, Azure redefines the essence of seaside living, offering a captivating beach and poolside escape that seamlessly blends elegance with relaxation. The Hostess is responsible for greeting customers and ensuring that all guests receive an amazing experience from their first point of contact with the team. The ideal candidate will have previous Hostess experience, preferably in an international setting such as Greece or Spain, a passion for guest service, and a good understanding of guest needs.

Principal Accountabilities

• Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus
• Manages waiting list
• Offers appropriate seating arrangements
• Receives and records customers dining reservations
• Ensures all orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintains clean and organized tables and work area
• Maintains proper grooming and personal hygiene at all times
• Assists room waiters and head waiters when needed
• Manages event-related work including setting up tables and maintaining both exterior and interior of the restaurant
• Ensures all guests receive positive and professional service to the highest standards to exceed customer expectations
• Handles guest problems and complaints
• Attends all regular departmental briefings and contributes to open communication within the assigned team
• Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry
• Fluent in English
• Basic computer skills
• Customer-oriented with a positive attitude
• Friendly and approachable
• Cooperative and self-giving team player
• Ability and willingness to perform under stress
• Positive and high energy level
• A willingness to go the extra mile in ensuring guests' needs are met
• A huge passion for customer service and hospitality
