Functieomschrijving As a Manufacturing Engineer IGT at Philips, you will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining production processes in the IGT Factory at Factory Best. Your focus will be on improving efficiency, quality, and reliability while driving Industry 4.0 initiatives in a low-volume, high-configuration manufacturing environment.Your Responsibilities: Lead process optimization projects to enhance lead time, cost efficiency, and quality. Analyze performance data using Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods. Implement and validate new production processes to support innovation and efficiency. Contribute to New Product Introductions (NPI) and manufacturing engineering activities. Develop and maintain work instructions, ensuring clear documentation for production teams. Handle production escalations, conducting root cause analyses (8D, PRs) to resolve issues. Manage product changes via Life Cycle Management strategies. Support audits, process validation, and quality compliance in a regulated environment. Functie-eisen Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience: 4 years in Manufacturing or Engineering within a high-tech industry. Skills & Knowledge: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Lean Manufacturing. Basic knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) & IT. Experience with SAP (MES) and Windchill is a plus. Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, 13485, FDA compliance, FMEA, 8D problem-solving). Ability to create and instruct clear work instructions.
