Credit Control Team Leader

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate hands-on credit professional to join our finance team in Burleigh Heads, QLD. As we embark on an ambitious journey to reach $2 billion in sales within the next two years, we need a motivated and proactive - Credit Control Team Leader to grow and transform our credit management functions. You will have the ability to implement process improvements to increase operational efficiencies and enhance credit controls. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day activities of accounts receivable and credit control processes across the group
• Implement process improvements to increase operational efficiencies and enhance credit controls
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and create strategies to minimize overdue accounts
• Provide weekly cash receipt forecasts to support group cash flow management
• Manage credit risks and develop strategies to improve cash flow and collection
• Maintain PPSR registrations and adhere to debtors' insurance (TCI) policies
• Collaborate with sales to manage the credit application process and maintain positive customer relationships

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Credit Control Team Leader or similar role
• Minimum 3 years of accounts receivable/credit management experience in a commercial environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with accounting software (Xero preferred)
• Experience servicing a wide range of customers, including major accounts and smaller organizations (approximately 100accounts)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
