Ngā kawenga | About the role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to contribute to vital water infrastructure projects within a horizontal build environment. As part of the Water Infrastructure Programme Management Team, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery, ensuring quality documentation processes, and maintaining compliance with NZS3910 contract standards. You'll work closely with Project Managers to scope, define, and plan projects while preparing high-quality funding papers, A3 briefs, and governance documents. Your coordination will support the successful execution of large-scale water infrastructure initiatives, ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations. To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience as a Project Coordinator within infrastructure, water, or construction sectors. Key skills and attributes include:
  • Strong understanding of water infrastructure projects and horizontal build environments.
  • Knowledge of NZS3910 contracts and their application in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Experience developing and managing quality project documentation, including funding proposals and governance reporting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks and issues and implement proactive solutions.
  • Familiarity with P3M3 frameworks, change management, and investment case development.
  • Experience in Aconex software would be advantageous.

The mid-point of the salary range is $106,789 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $90,771 - $128,147 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
