Zahr Freighters, a leading name in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking an organized and proactive Logistics Officer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is critical in ensuring seamless operations, efficient supply chain management, and exceptional customer service. Logistics Coordination: Oversee and manage the end-to-end logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Supply Chain Management: Monitor supply chain activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service quality.
Shipment Oversight: Track and monitor shipments, ensuring adherence to schedules and resolving any delays or issues.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock availability aligns with company needs.
Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with local and international regulations including customs clearance and documentation.
Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining service quality and efficiency.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on logistics performance including cost analysis and operational efficiency metrics.
Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams including procurement, sales, and customer service to meet operational goals.

Requirements:

Experience: 3 years in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry.
Education: A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Skills:
1. Proficiency in logistics management software.
2. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
4. Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
