Social network you want to login/join with: The primary function of this role is to assist the accountant in preparing the monthly management accounts, balance sheet, and all other associated duties within the Finance Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock Reconciliations
- Assisting preparation of monthly accounts
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Raising weekly/monthly invoices & ad hoc Billing
- Liaise with respective business partners regularly.
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports for management and business partners.
- Deferred Revenue/Accrued revenue
- Intercompany
- Assist in audit process.
- Other ad hoc duties
WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED
- 2 Years working in a busy practice or 2 years in a relevant FMCG / Retail environment in an assistant accountant role.
- Analytical with a strong attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work with large volume of Data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exercises independent judgement and is multi-task orientated.
- Takes initiative & ownership of responsibilities.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- University/College degree preferable.
- D365 Experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Must have an interest in pursuing an accountancy qualification (ACCA CIMA ACA) or be part Qualified.
