Airfreight Shipping Coordinator | 5 Days | Up to $2.8k | Changi Working Day: Mon – Fri: 9am to 6pm & Sat: 9am -1pm ( to till shipments completed) Working Location: Changi Airfreight Centre Salary: $2200 – 2800 Job Purpose: To oversee and manage airfreight operations, ensuring the timely and efficient movement of shipments while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee all airfreight shipments, including imports and exports. Liaise with airlines, ground handlers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely cargo movement. Monitor and manage cargo space bookings and allocations with airlines. Prepare and process shipping documents such as airway bills (AWB), cargo manifests, and customs declarations. Ensure proper handling of sensitive or perishable goods, adhering to specialised requirements like temperature control or hazardous material guidelines. Maintain accurate records of all shipments and operational activities. Prepare operational and performance reports for management review. Manage billing and closing of shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all financial transactions related to air freight operations Job Requirements: Proficiency in airfreight management systems and software. Familiarity with cargo booking platforms and airline portals. Knowledge of customs clearance processes and documentation.
