- Based at our Geelong, Waurn Ponds Campus
- Full-time and continuing in the School of Medicine
- Level B $113,157 - $133,837 + 17% Superannuation
- Develop and nurture clinical partnerships and collaborations with other stakeholders to advance the profile of the Medical Imaging program within the School, Faculty of Health, and the medical and general community.
- Develop safe learning environments that focus on the student's wellbeing and maintain communication with students via clinical partnership visits, both in-person and via teleconference.
- Contribute to the teaching excellence within the Deakin medical imaging program.
- Undertake appropriate administrative tasks including Unit Chair responsibilities.
- Assist in applying industry, clinical, and/or research practice into student learning experiences, success, engagement, and resources.
- Maintain deep discipline knowledge which is applied to inform unit design.
- PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience.
- Experience in delivering teaching and learning in a clinical and/or higher education setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.
- Demonstrated capacity and passion for leadership of teaching, research, and/or administration in a clinical setting.
- Emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications and/or exhibitions and/or success in obtaining external research funding.
- Ability to contribute to communities through research.
- Capacity to contribute to leadership of research and administration.
- Recent clinical practice experience (desirable).
