Our parent company Ramcar ANZ operates a diverse range of businesses across Australia and New Zealand, including battery supply, battery recycling, mobile service and automotive services. About the role This is a permanent full-time opportunity based out of our Port Macquarie facility reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. In this role, you will sit behind the wheel of a MR truck each day, travelling from one customer to another, handling and delivering automotive batteries and associated products. You will provide high levels of customer service through set service runs which must be managed and updated to match customer needs. Customer contact and a team attitude are very important to ensuring all customer needs are met whilst ensuring that the company has profitable relationships with the customer base. Your primary responsibility is ensuring that the customer receives quality saleable products delivered in a timely manner. In addition, leads for new customers may be followed up in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager. You will enjoy the freedom of building lasting relationships with customers and looking after your own territory's sales and growth. What we want in you

  • MR Truck Licence ( mandatory );
  • Sales Experience (preferred but not essential);
  • Route planning experience with the ability to manage inventory on your van as well as in the warehouse;
  • The ability to pro-actively participate in any ideas for improvement across the sales and distribution network;
  • The ability to provide information and recommendations regarding product quality through warranty data analytics;
  • The ability to lift heavy automotive batteries regularly;
  • Strict adherence to policies and legislation involving conduct, safety and Dangerous goods.
If you have experience as a route driver in the delivery of food, building products, etc., you know how to work safely, achieve targets, and manage stock levels. If you enjoy responsibility, can follow instructions, and take pride in delivering high levels of customer service to an already established customer base that becomes like friends, then this is likely the job for you.
