Benefits: Salary: Up to $5,000 basic + AWS + Variable Bonus Annual Leave: up to 16 days. Working Hours: 5-day workweek, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Location: Clementi Very low OT / High work-life balance Responsibilities: Develop freight shipment solutions for improvements and/or closing gaps Maintain relationships with vendors, carriers, freight forwarders and port authorities to provide competitive shipping solutions to customers Monitor lapses in delivery of logistics services to customers Implement intervention strategies to mitigate gaps in delivery of logistics services Communicate to employees on the variations in rating principles, states as well as operator variations Manage carrier ranking or customer priority system to ensure strategic business is protected during periods of capacity shortage Manage teams in the workplace Develop measures to improve vendor management capability in the organization Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business . (Diploma holders with relevant work experience will also be considered)5-8 years of experience in freight management, logistics, or supply chain operations . Prior experience in secure freight handling, project freight, or pricing . Proven track record in vendor management and carrier negotiations . Experience in leading a team and managing P&L . Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping regulations, and customs clearance . Familiarity with freight costing models, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations . Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, etc.) . Strong negotiation & stakeholder management (vendors, freight forwarders, carriers, port authorities). Decision-making & problem-solving in logistics operations. People management experience – leading, coaching, and optimizing team performance. Ability to analyze freight trends and optimize operational efficiency . Experience handling capacity shortages and supply chain disruptions .
