Purchaser (Quotation/Automotive)

Working closely with new & used car divisions Responding timely and accurately to quotation requests Equipped with knowledge of market trends, particularly in the used car market, and the ability to quote accurately Ensuring data is captured and input into the system, including CQ dashboard, dealer reference, quote history, and trade-in remarks such as handover date and ownership Working and communicating effectively with the Appraiser team, PPM, and HOP Making accurate valuations using market knowledge, supported by in-house data from CQ dashboard and other system reports, and making necessary network references for price quotes Seeking support from the Purchasing & Projects Manager and/or Head of Purchasing in valuing and adjusting used car buy-in prices according to market conditions and company guidelines Validating and ascertaining proposed prices by Appraisers for externally sourced purchase opportunities (initial price proposal by Appraiser) Engaging the Purchasing & Projects Manager/Head of Purchasing for price quotation reviews and coaching sessions Working closely with all relevant departments to ensure accuracy of all used car pricing Ensuring the use of reference data and detailed recording of reference points to derive quotations Following Company procedures and guidelines closely Requirements Diploma or Nitec in a related course with at least 1-2 years of sales and/or purchasing experience in the automotive industry Possess a valid Class 3 driving license Proficient in product knowledge and able to perform accurate quotations Basic knowledge of cars All successful candidates can expect a very competitive remuneration package and a comprehensive range of benefits.
