Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Field Sales (Travel Insurance) Location: Mumbai, Surat, Baroda, Ahmedabad Salary: Upto 7 LPA Experience: 5-7 years Job Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team in the Travel Insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in field sales and Agency Channel Sales in the General Insurance sector, preferably in the insurance or travel industry, and be capable of managing and growing business within the assigned territory. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, building relationships with potential clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for travel insurance products.
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with clients, including businesses and individuals seeking travel insurance.
  • Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Provide product knowledge and solutions to customers, helping them make informed decisions about their travel insurance needs.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to meet potential clients, attend sales presentations, and represent the company at events and conferences.
  • Manage and track the sales pipeline and report on progress to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to create tailored sales initiatives for specific customer segments.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and competitor activity.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, performance, and forecasts.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the General insurance industry.
  • Experience in Agency Channel Sales
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area.
  • Knowledge of travel insurance products and market trends is a plus.
