Title: Senior Field Service VFD Engineer Job ID: 4889 Location: Doha, QA Innomotics engineers and produces heavy-duty electrical drive systems for medium and high voltage ranges: electrical motors, converters, and generators. Additionally, we offer special large drives for O&G, Ships, Mines, Rolling mills, and many other verticals. Our digitalization expertise and outstanding service keeps the performance and availability of our drives always at the maximum. Join our Innomotics Team as the Senior Service Engineer for medium voltage drives applications and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow. Your Role International, Challenging And Future-Oriented! In this role you will perform as Innomotics service engineer, conducting activities related to medium voltage converter, on different sectors and applications. This is a challenging, exciting, and daily learning position. Among the most relevant responsibilities, you will:

  • Perform activities at site (at customer facilities), such as commissioning, maintenance (preventive, corrective, and/or predictive), troubleshooting, retrofit, system upgradations, conduct trainings, and all product-related activities of Innomotics MV drives (Formerly Siemens).
  • Deliver continuous technical support to customers as well as internal teams such as customer care center, sales representatives, project management, etc.
  • Deliver detailed and professional reports for each attended service, submitting them along with all associated information on time.
  • Ensure adherence to Innomotics standards, especially precautions and responsibilities related to EHS.
  • Manage information according to Innomotics confidentiality guidelines.
  • Be available to travel (national and international trips) as required due to the nature of the position.
  • Be a customer-oriented person who can ensure high satisfaction and differentiate Innomotics service.
Your Qualifications And Skills Digital And Solid!
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering.
  • 5+ years of certified experience.
  • Experience with air-cooled and water-cooled MV drives such as SINAMICS GH180, GH150, GM150, GL150, SL150, SM150, Simovert S, in some of the listed verticals: Cement, mining, steel, Oil & Gas, water utilities.
  • Experience with MV systems such as distribution transformers, HV motors, and MV switchgear.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) as well as a positive attitude to work in teams.
  • Fluent in English.
