  • Research and evaluate suppliers based on cost, selection, service, distribution capabilities, and availability, then communicate findings to the Purchasing Director.
  • Responsible for negotiating new deals and renegotiating expiring contracts.
  • Create and send Purchase Orders.
  • Track the progress of all shipments and address any problems.
  • Negotiate and extend contracts with suppliers, being well-versed on the supplier's level of performance.
  • Perform other applicable tasks and duties within the realm of knowledge, skills, and abilities, commensurate with the assignment.
To be considered for this role, you must have one of the following qualifications:
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Professional Experiences:
  • Recent graduate or at least 1 year of experience in the same field.
  • Extensive experience in the Medical Services industry, preferably in a strategic setting in a mid to large size organization.
Specialized Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to make quick decisions.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
