Job Responsibilities To perform safety-related work such as: (a) Conduct safety training/briefing for personnel who need to work in the cleanroom; (b) Carry out periodic emergency response drills to familiarize personnel with standard evacuation and response procedures; (c) Carry out periodic inspections of safety facilities such as eyewash & shower, chemical spill absorbent, fire extinguisher, etc.; (d) Monitor users’ activities on CCTV for any irregularities. Emergency Response Respond to emergency calls during and after office hours. Emergencies can include building fire alarms, fab evacuation alarms, hazardous material spills, leaks, or medical emergencies. Assess the situation and discuss a coordinated response plan with both the Safety Manager and Lab Manager based on the Emergency Response Plan (ERP). Be on standby/on-site for ad-hoc/extended hours lab operations requests. Chemistry and Safety Assessments Learn and understand the chemistry for each individual tool and new projects to ensure industrial hygiene for the lab and users are met. Follow up, understand changes, and make assessments on the safety aspects for tool continuous improvement processes (CIP). Liaise with suppliers for maintenance/procurement of ERT equipment/supplies. Perform risk assessments for research activities related to E5 Cleanroom processes and equipment. Safety Management Support the development and implementation of the Safety & Health Management System for AMAT-NUS Corp Lab conducting materials research. Support safety audits.
