Join our client as a Senior Tax Manager based in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. This is a full-time role where you will play a key part in the accounting team, providing expert tax advisory and compliance services, managing a team of accountants, along with your own client portfolio. As the Senior Tax Manager, our client is looking for an ambitious team member who wants a clear pathway to Partnership. Our client is a multi-faceted accounting and financial planning practice with team members across tax advisory, financial planning, self-managed superannuation, and audit. What You Will Be Doing: Advising clients on complex tax planning strategies. Ensuring clients meet all tax compliance obligations and deadlines whilst providing high-quality tax consulting services. Conducting tax research and analysis to identify client-specific tax optimisation opportunities. Collaborating with the broader accounting and financial planning team to deliver seamless client service. Managing, mentoring, and training team members. What Our Client Is Looking For: CA or CPA qualified (essential), with relevant experience within a tax-focused role. Minimum of 5+ years of post-qualification experience. Comprehensive local tax experience within a mid-tier or boutique chartered accounting firm. Proven experience in income tax compliance, tax-effect accounting, and providing practical tax advisory services. Extensive knowledge of Australian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and client relationship management skills. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. Proficient with various tax software.
