DevOps Engineer - Chef Specialist (AWS/Azure) Experience: 5 to 10 years Location: Open/As specified by the company Role Overview We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Chef and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating and managing Chef cookbooks, Ruby scripting, and implementing DevOps practices to streamline infrastructure deployment and automation processes. Key Responsibilities

1. Chef Configuration Management:

• Develop, manage, and maintain Chef cookbooks to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Customize and troubleshoot Chef recipes to meet project requirements.
• Ensure consistency in environments using Chef server and Chef Workstation.

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Design and manage scalable cloud-based infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
• Automate deployments, scaling, and management of cloud resources using Chef and other DevOps tools.

1. Scripting and Automation:

• Write and maintain Ruby scripts for infrastructure automation tasks.
• Automate build and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

1. DevOps Practices and Operations:

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure and application workflows.

1. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Ensure high availability of systems and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure or deployment issues efficiently.

• Expertise in Chef for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
• Strong experience in creating and managing Chef cookbooks and recipes.
• Proficiency in Ruby scripting .
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms AWS or Azure .
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
