Responsibilities (In order of Priority)1) Perform analysis on designs including hand calculations for feed & pressurisation systems 2) Develop designs of propulsion systems such as thrust chambers, injectors 3) Clearly define input requirements and outputs of interest by discussing with appropriate engineers 4) Design, sizing, selection and operation of flow devices, electrical actuators etc. 5) Understand interrelation of multiple competing requirements & anticipate effects of decisions on a system level 6) Work with multiple teams to gather and transfer data 7) Document all designs end-to-end to justify design clearance 8) Demonstrate excellent integrity, accountability and zeal to complete projects quickly and correctly Skills required Technical Skills (In order of Priority)1) Academic and working knowledge of feed systems, plumbing’s, P&ID’s, component design and selection 2) Academic and working knowledge of electrical systems, their design and safety requirements 3) Academic and working knowledge of propulsion elements such as thrust chamber, cooling design, injector design, nozzle design 4) Core competency in defining inputs, identify gaps and selecting best components for flight service 5) Must be able to apply engineering fundamentals such as thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer. 6) Proficiency in Matlab/ python or other programming languages 7) Knowledge of AMEsim/ Ecosim pro or an equivalent system modelling software package 8) Ability to detect failure modes prior to analysis, suggest changes to improve design Other Skills (In order of Priority)1) Handling multiple design and documentation work in parallel 2) Excellent organizational skills to keep clear track of deliverables 3) Great interpersonal and communication skills to explain work done and work required to be done Qualification Essential: 1) Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering 2) 1+ years’ experience with CAD software packages 3) 2+ years of hands-on experience driving the design and development of propulsion systems, fluid systems, P&ID’s, mechanical components or systems Preferrable: 1) Master’s degree in above mentioned engineering fields 2) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 3) Strong ability to use data to make clear and logical decisions Perks & Benefits: We provide seamless transportation, nourishing meals and elevated wellbeing – Because we believe everyone deserves a smooth ride to success!
