We’ll trust you to:

  • Support the strategy team of a broad energy company by providing bespoke research and analysis specific to competitor intelligence, market and industry research, and financial or operational benchmarking
  • Conducting qualitative research on a variety of areas and prepare standard or custom products including industry reports capturing major oil and gas industry and other key geo-political events.
  • Carry out competitor analysis, industry analysis, and determining the attractiveness of different markets for the client
  • Structure problems and plan delivery along with project managers
  • Support Group manager in project management responsibilities
  • Client communication – via emails, phone and conference calls
  • Contribute actively to team discussions and work on various team/ group specific strategic initiatives
Skills set required:
  • Excellent secondary research skills and good knowledge of relevant market and business research frameworks
  • Understanding of the energy value chain focused on exploration & production, key players in the value chain, their KPIs, strategy and growth initiatives
  • Relevant experience in each of the following:
  • Data compilation, analysis and synthesis
  • Report writing and presentation, with high skill in drawing insights from information
  • Project management
  • Excellent writing skills in English, communication and inter-personnel skills
  • Ability to understand the link between client needs, data and its application
  • Good story-boarding skills
  • Ability to flex between project planning and actual execution
  • Excellent working skills with Microsoft Office tools, especially power point, word and excel
  • Familiarity with key research databases (knowledge of WM, IHS are an added advantage)
  • Innovative thinking abilities and solution-oriented approach to work
What you’ll need to have:
  • Master's degree from a reputed institute with 3-6 years of experience
  • Relevant industry experience (oil & gas) will be an added advantage
  • Team player with an ability to work in challenging situations
  • Strong academics with very good communication skill
