The International Law Specialist plays a crucial role in the legal and compliance industry in Dubai, UAE. This position focuses on providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients on matters related to international law. Key responsibilities include:

Cross-Border Transactions: Assist clients in navigating legal complexities related to international business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and cross-border investments. Advise on international trade laws, customs regulations, and international contracts.
International Dispute Resolution: Handle international dispute resolution matters, including international arbitration cases and cross-border litigation. Represent clients in negotiation, mediation, and settlement discussions. Provide legal analysis and strategies for resolving disputes across jurisdictions.
International Trade and Compliance: Advise clients on international trade laws, export controls, sanctions, and customs regulations. Ensure compliance with international trade agreements and treaties. Assist in obtaining necessary licenses and permits for international trade activities.
Foreign Investment Regulations: Provide guidance on foreign investment regulations and assist clients in structuring their investments in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Advise on investment protection agreements, bilateral investment treaties, and investment dispute resolution.
International Human Rights: Advise clients on international human rights standards and their implications for business operations. Assist in developing and implementing human rights policies and due diligence frameworks. Conduct human rights impact assessments.
International Contracts and Agreements: Draft and review international contracts, including international sales agreements, distribution agreements, licensing agreements, and service contracts. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in different jurisdictions.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with international legal and regulatory developments, including international conventions, treaties, and multilateral agreements. Advise clients on compliance obligations and assist in developing compliance programs.
Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive legal research on international legal issues, case law, and legal precedents. Analyze complex legal matters and provide clear and concise legal opinions to clients.
International Legal Due Diligence: Conduct legal due diligence for international transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. Identify legal risks, compliance issues, and regulatory requirements in different jurisdictions.
Client Consultation: Provide legal advice and consultation to clients on various international law matters, including international business expansion, regulatory compliance, intellectual property protection, and contractual disputes.

Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. Specialization in international law or global legal studies is preferred. Proven experience in international law or a related legal field, preferably in the UAE or an international setting. Strong knowledge of international law principles, international trade regulations, and cross-border legal frameworks. Familiarity with international dispute resolution mechanisms, including international arbitration and mediation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex international legal issues. Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, international organizations, and stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds. Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing international contracts, legal documents, and agreements. Proficiency in legal research tools and databases. Ability to work independently and handle multiple client engagements simultaneously. Professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive legal matters. Proficiency in English.
