Controller/Accountant

• 2+ years of accounting/controller experience, with knowledge of HST remittance
• Experience in or familiarity with residential construction/commercial developments is a strong asset
• Skilled in using accounting software like QuickBooks Online, Sage, or equivalent systems —experience using ApprovalMax is an asset
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance (an asset)
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset

• Keep financial records current and accurate, managing accounts payable and receivable
• Handle payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Manage financial processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting tasks
• Track project expenses and deliver comprehensive cost analyses
• Work with management to enhance financial processes and reporting systems
