Role Overview: As the Human Resources Manager , you will be a key member of our Resort pre-opening team at Peninsula Del Mar , Kaup, Udupi, Karnataka. You will be responsible for setting up the HR function and creating a strong foundation for the property’s operations. You will lead all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee engagement, compliance, and HR strategy. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the launch of a prestigious luxury resort. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process to build a world-class team.
- Develop job descriptions, manage postings, and conduct interviews to attract top talent.
- Ensure staffing needs are met before and after the resort's opening.
- Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs to integrate new hires.
- Develop training modules for all departments to ensure service excellence.
- Conduct regular skill and compliance training for staff at all levels.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
- Address employee concerns and manage conflict resolution effectively.
- Plan and execute team-building activities and wellness programs.
- Establish and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the hospitality industry.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Manage employee documentation and maintain accurate HR records.
- Implement performance appraisal systems to drive employee development.
- Provide coaching and feedback to managers on employee performance and growth.
- Source Department Heads & Collaborate with then to align HR efforts with pre-opening activities.
- Create a hiring plan for the resort’s operational needs before the opening date.
- Act as a key advisor to the management team during the pre-opening phase.
- Develop and implement the resort’s HR strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to create a culture of excellence and inclusivity.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality or Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of HR experience in Hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in managing HR for hotels or resorts. Pre-opening is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in HR systems and tools for recruitment, training, and payroll management.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach.
