Job description Greetings from Nalanda Educational Institution Position - PGT Business Studies Teacher Location - Benz Circle, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, We are seeking a skilled and passionate PGT Business Studies Teacher to teach senior school students (grades 11-12) under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching subjects like Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, and related topics, helping students build a strong foundation in business principles and real-world applications. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess Business Studies lessons in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach subjects such as Business Studies, Business Environment, Economics, and Entrepreneurship to senior school students.
- Develop students' understanding of business concepts, including marketing, finance, human resources, and organizational behavior.
- Foster critical thinking by encouraging students to analyze business case studies and current market trends.
- Prepare students for board exams while ensuring they are equipped with practical business skills.
- Provide individualized support and feedback to help students excel academically and professionally.
- Integrate real-life examples, industry practices, and guest lectures to enhance learning experiences.
- Encourage students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset through projects, presentations, and debates.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Participate in school events, professional development workshops, and interdisciplinary projects.
- Master’s degree in Business Studies.
- B.Ed. or relevant teaching certification (preferred).
- Minimum 4+ years of experience teaching Business Studies at the senior school (grades 11-12) level.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE Business Studies curriculum and examination system.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of business leaders.
