Position: Accounts Assistant Experience: 5-6 Years Location: Kolkata, India Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have 5-6 years of experience in accounting, with expertise in Tally, voucher preparation, and general accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records using Tally.
  • Prepare and process vouchers (payment, receipt, journal, and contra vouchers).
  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger management and reconciliation.
  • Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.
  • Prepare and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow records.
  • Support audit preparations and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for financial transactions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry and record-keeping.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience: 5-6 years in accounting roles, with hands-on experience in Tally.
  • Strong knowledge of voucher preparation and general accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations.
