Responsible for handling all air product operations within assigned territory to ensure compliance with internal FSL policies and external government regulations, and to ensure customer satisfaction by providing world-class operational excellence in handling air freight both import and export. Key Responsibilities :
- Pre-alert document checks before the shipment arrives and providing necessary information to clients or agents if any prior approval or amendments are required on documents (either on AWB or related docs).
- Issue Delivery Order (D/O), Cargo Transfer (CT), Airport Transfer (ATA), Delivery Advice (D/A), and ADM booking for import shipments.
- Coordinate with internal and overseas agents for import shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers, GHA, and local authorities.
- Coordinate within the internal team, customer, and overseas agents to update arrival of shipment, clearance status, and delivery details at regular intervals.
- Coordinate and arrange transportation to ensure that consignments are delivered on time.
- Provide innovative, workable solutions to a wide range of internal and customer problems.
- Contribute to departmental goals and achieve individual KPIs.
- Handle DAP/DDP quotes by understanding necessary charges involved in different types of shipments.
- Book shipments with carriers and coordinate with shippers for cargo and documents.
- Prepare required documents and send pre-alerts to overseas agents for export shipments.
- Prepare AWBs.
- Build relationships with clients and service providers.
- Send post-shipment documents timely to customers.
- Take care of booking, job generation, DN, and provisional cost booking.
- Procurement and pricing.
- Good sound knowledge of air freight operations.
- Good knowledge of Calogi (Import & Export). Knowledge in Dubai trade is an advantage.
- Knowledge of EDP software and MS Office Suite.
- Very good communication skills.
- Result-oriented.
