Position: Senior Director, Labour & Employee Relations Location: Hybrid – Toronto, ON Job Type: Full-time Are you a strategic thinker with expertise in labour and employee relations? About the Role Reporting to the VP of Business Partnership & Labour Relations, the Senior Director, Labour & Employee Relations will lead the Centre for Expertise in labour relations, employee relations, and workplace investigations. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders, HR colleagues, external stakeholders, and union partners to enable business objectives while fostering a culture aligned with organizational values. What You’ll Do: - Build frameworks for constructive labour relations with union partners. - Provide expert advice on collective agreements and labour strategies. - Lead corporate labour relations, employee relations, and workplace investigation strategies. - Drive collective bargaining strategy and oversee grievance/arbitration management. - Empower a team of professionals to deliver high-quality advice and achieve business objectives. What You Bring: - Degree in HR, Labour Relations, Business, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in a highly unionized environment. - Proven expertise in collective bargaining, grievance management, and employment legislation. - Strong negotiation and leadership skills in complex environments. - A passion for exceptional service and fostering a collaborative, inclusive workplace.
