Position Job Title: Domestic Student Recruitment Advisor (Graduate Programs) Location: Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada (Onsite) Reports To: Associate Director, Domestic Student Recruitment Overview The University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) is an innovative and digitally oriented institution that prepares graduates for leadership in a digital world. Primary Purpose As a Domestic Student Recruitment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in attracting, engaging, and enrolling prospective undergraduate or graduate students into our university programs. You will be responsible for implementing strategies to increase student recruitment numbers while maintaining high standards of service and ethical practices. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of educational programs, and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Specific Responsibilities Student Outreach and Engagement:

  • Execute recruitment plans to attract prospective students through various channels such as high schools, post-secondary schools, community events, digital platforms, and other targeted initiatives.
  • Represent the university at recruitment events, post-secondary fairs, and information sessions to provide information about programs, admissions requirements, and campus life.
  • Build relationships with key influencers including high school counselors, community leaders, and education consultants to promote the university and its programs.
Events Coordination:
  • Plan and coordinate recruitment events such as campus tours, open houses, and orientation sessions to showcase the university's facilities, faculty, and student life.
Admissions Support:
  • Guide prospective students through the admissions process, providing accurate information on application procedures, deadlines, and required documents.
  • Conduct individual advising sessions to assess prospective students' interests, goals, and academic qualifications to recommend suitable programs.
Marketing and Communication:
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials, digital content, and campaigns that effectively communicate the university's unique selling points to prospective students.
  • Utilize social media platforms, email campaigns, and other digital tools to engage with prospective students and nurture relationships throughout the recruitment cycle.
Data Management and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions, recruitment activities, and outcomes using CRM systems or other designated platforms.

  • This position will require frequent travel off campus attending recruitment events and activities.
  • Evenings and weekends may be required during peak recruitment periods.

Education and Experience
  • Successfully completed post-secondary degree in related field.
  • Proven experience in student recruitment, admissions or related fields within an educational institutional is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and digital marketing tools preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
