Job Description

• Assist in developing and implementing cryogenic shop standards and improvements.
• Support instruction execution on fitting techniques, proper tools, and proper procedures.
• Work independently in all areas of the shop with technicians and welders to raise the level of quality in fitting and troubleshooting.
• Be able to identify fit up issues rapidly and address them quickly.
• Install and assemble mechanical systems and components as per specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance and repair work on tanks and cryogenic equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Conduct inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and perform necessary adjustments or replacements.
• Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operation.
• Consistently identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide follow-up reports to workshop supervisor on observed deficiencies in fitting.
• Understand and read the drawings and P&ID.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3+ years minimum in fitter jobs.
• Experience in fitting, welding, and fabrication of pipe spools, supports, and structures.
• Sound knowledge of various welding techniques and practices.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and piping systems.
• Experience in cryogenic tank storage or gas industries preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Higher Diploma, High School.
• Certification/Diploma in ITI is a must.
