Sohum Global Education operates through two verticals: Blue Ocean & Indian School of Purpose & Impact (ISPI) Position : Chief of Staff, Founder’s Office Job Location: Mayur Vihar Extension, Delhi Timings: Monday-Saturday, 10 am- 6:30 pm Job Description: The Chief of Staff role will give you an insider look at how a growth stage company scales and operates, from the vantage point of the executive team. As the Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the Founder on everything ranging from strategy and planning to special projects and executive coordination, driving growth, managing teams and programs, and leading business development initiatives for both the verticals. This role involves overseeing the company’s strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting the Founder in decision-making. You will also assist in managing the P&L and ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and build on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations.
- Assist in defining new operational strategies by working with the Founder and other executives on projects.
- Provide the Founder with insights, analysis, and recommendations for scaling both the verticals independently & lead high-impact initiatives.
- Lead the creation and execution of business plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Leverage business acumen to deliver insights that enhance customer value and drive results, aligning with organizational goals.
- Travel to business and potential locations as required to support business development and relationship-building efforts.
- Prepare and maintain regular reports on business progress, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify opportunities, build partnerships, and develop strategies for revenue generation across both the verticals
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost control to achieve profitability targets.
- Provide strategic support to the Founder, including preparing reports, presentation decks, emails, and dashboards for business reviews, external engagements, and industry events.
- Undertake any other responsibilities or tasks assigned, in line with job requirements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, MBA, Engineering, Maths or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or program management.
- Proven experience in managing P&L and scaling business operations.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and operational tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for business meetings and program-related activities.
- Freshers with excellent analytical skills and zeal to contribute to the company are also welcome to apply.
