They assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries, and other banking services. Bank Tellers also promote bank products and services, handle cash, and ensure the accuracy of transactions. Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on bank products and services.
- Promote and cross-sell bank products to customers.
- Handle cash and accurately count and balance currency.
- Verify and validate customer identification for security purposes.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain and update customer account records.
- Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of banking products and services.
