NEOM is hiring a Senior Manager for Environment and land Use Statistics to lead innovative environmental data initiatives.NEOM, Saudi Arabia—NEOM, the ambitious urban development project known for its futuristic vision, seeks a highly skilled Senior Manager specializing in Environment and Land Use Statistics.This key role will contribute to sustainable development goals by leveraging advanced statistical methods in a fully digitalized context.NEOM's Vision for Environmental StewardshipNEOM's Economics, Data, and Statistics Sector is establishing a new Statistics Office designed to provide robust data on various sectors, including the environment.The Senior Manager for Environment and Land Use Statistics will produce high-quality, real-time statistical insights that support evidence-based decision-making and policy development in environmental science and natural resource management.Position OverviewPosition: Senior Manager Environment and Land Use StatisticsReports to: Senior Manager Spatial StatisticsDivision/Section: Data and StatisticsDepartment: Economics, Data, and StatisticsSector: Economics, Data, and StatisticsRole PurposeThe Senior Manager will be instrumental in producing official environment and land use statistics for NEOM, adhering to international standards.This includes analyzing environmental data from diverse sources, conducting impact assessments, utilizing spatial statistical techniques, integrating various datasets, supporting policy development, and fostering innovative approaches within the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesStatistical ProductionProduction of Official Statistics: Generate environment and land use statistics for NEOM according to international standards.Data Analysis: Utilize advanced statistical methods to analyze data from sources like remote sensing imagery, GIS, and surveys.
