Position Title: Senior Structural Design Engineer Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra Experience Required: 15–18 years in structural design engineering, with: 10 years with reputed structural design consultants in Mumbai. 5 years with reputed real estate developers in Mumbai. 3 years of on-site experience. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a reputed institution. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Revit. Strong knowledge of designing high-rise buildings (up to 200 meters in height). Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer with expertise in designing and peer-reviewing high-rise building structures. The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently and add value to projects through innovative, cost-effective, and time-saving solutions. Key Responsibilities: Structural Design and Peer Review: Design high-rise buildings up to 200 meters in height while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. Peer review structural designs provided by consulting structural engineers and recommend improvements or corrections. On-Site Issue Resolution: Identify structural design and execution issues at project sites and provide timely and effective solutions. Collaborate with site teams to ensure structural designs are executed seamlessly. Coordination with Stakeholders: Engage with project stakeholders, including architects, consultants, and contractors, to ensure structural designs align with the overall project vision. Provide value addition to the structural design process by optimizing for cost efficiency and timeline improvements. Design Optimization: Use expertise to deliver innovative structural solutions that improve building stability, efficiency, and performance. Evaluate and incorporate materials and construction methods that enhance the durability and sustainability of structures. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all structural designs adhere to local building codes and regulations. Conduct thorough structural assessments to guarantee safety and reliability. Technical Expertise: Operate tools like AutoCAD, MS Office, and Revit for drafting, analysis, and design visualization. Leverage experience with on-site conditions to inform practical and executable designs. Required Skills and Expertise: Proven experience in designing high-rise buildings up to 200 meters. Strong ability to peer review designs from consultants and suggest improvements. Expertise in identifying and resolving on-site structural challenges. Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and site execution processes. Excellent coordination and communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
