Job Summary Role & Responsibilities Qualification & Experience Requirements (Mandatory) The role requires a comprehensive understanding of indirect procurement, with practical experience in electrical, mechanical, and civil purchases, as well as goods and services procurement. Expertise in industrial and manufacturing goods, facility management, and IT products is essential. Key responsibilities include vendor management, developing procurement strategies, optimising purchase costs while maintaining quality, and demonstrating strong commercial acumen. The role also demands proficiency in stakeholder management, techno-commercial analysis, comparative analysis, team leadership, and the implementation of ERP systems. Roles & Responsibilities The person will be responsible for the Project Procurement (All spent) activities like: 1.To provide comprehensive procurement Management for capex, opex, MRO spent. MIS / Spent analysis to apprise Management with key Market Trends. 2.Should be responsible for Procure to Pay Cycle. i.e. Reviews request, negotiates proposals, selects or recommends suppliers, analyses trend, follows up orders placed, approves payment, and maintains necessary records of procurement spend/materials movement. 3.In front-end procurement mode, analyses data and determines factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. 4.Coordinates and follows up with stakeholders for Implementation to ensure appropriate procurement, scheduling, and movement of materials and services. 5.Develop deep collaborative and innovative relationships with stakeholders to foster right level of proc. involvement in projects. 6.Ensure all significant spend suppliers are covered by procurement-led contracts, securing buy-in from stakeholders and cost owners. 7.Lead the supplier relationship management / contract management & internal stake-holder engagement. 8.To conduct regular analysis surrounding supplier spend and performance and recommend key changes/ improvements to ensure delivery of agreed quality and financial benefits. Qualification & Experience 1.The candidate should be B.E. / B.Tech have & overall 15- 18 years of experience and preferred 4 - 6 years’ experience (Specialization in Procurement in Supply Chain industry)2.MBA in relevant field would be an added advantage. 3.Thorough understanding of the Procurement, Sourcing concepts, with hand-on experience. 4.Should have procurement knowledge and experience and specifically Project Capex & OpenX purchases and experience in setting up of warehouses would be added advantage. 5.Good negotiation skills and thorough understanding of procurement process.
