Senior Software Engineer - Ref 20221005 8 to 12

Primary Objective: (Automation Testing ) Seeking a Product Validation and Tests Engineer to join a fast-paced and highly motivated team. The candidate will design software test plans, and test cases and write up test reports. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, self-driven and thrive in an environment that values teamwork, results, and creativity. Main Responsibilities:

• Understand relevant protocol specifications and RFCs from various standard bodies. Ex: IETF, OMA, 3GPP etc.
• Design system level test plans, write test cases based on RFCs, internal requirements and high level designs.
• Test the platform firmware that includes networking stack and services, protocols such as TCP/UDP, TLS, and cellular concepts such as IMS, VoLTE, LTE.
• Provides details bug analysis including sniffer analysis.
• Write detailed bug report and test reports.
• Support Development team to reproduce and resolve firmware issues.
• Develop automation test scripts, test and debug them and deploy into regression.

• Hands on experience in testing wireless networks is a must – candidate must have worked on Cellular technologies before.
• Hands on experience in test automation using Python is a must.
• Using Qualcomm development tools such as QXDM, QCAT, QPST etc. will be a big advantage.
• Great teamwork attitude to work in dynamic environment.
• Excellent communications skills – oral and written.
