Land Freight Operations Supervisor - (7129)

Job Title: Land Freight Operations Supervisor Education: Bachelor's Degree Location: Professional Category: Operations Job Type: Permanent JOB DESCRIPTION:
  1. Organizational departmental planning with Branch Manager/General Manager/Director of Operations/Country Manager
  2. Develops and implements the logistics plan and procedures for the designated projects
  3. Selecting the most appropriate transport vendors
  4. Providing instructions for suppliers and contractors
  5. Responsible for management of the operational budget
  6. Together with the manager, establishing the profit ratio
  7. Ensure all KPIs meet customer requirements
  8. Ensure all team members meet the customer’s and BDP Internal deadlines
  9. Conduct periodic review and improve the process flow and document process flow
  10. Carry out internal systems training to staff
  11. Ensure billing is done correctly and timely
  12. Monitor all required data is updated into internal systems or customer systems according to procedures
  13. Report possible incidents to the manager
  14. Record keeping of exceptional incidents and conduct investigation with the recommended corrective action
  15. Preparing reports required by customers and/or internal team
Job Requirements:
  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; additional qualifications in supply chain management will be helpful
  2. Experience of minimum 5 years in a leadership role in the logistics field
  3. Knowledge and experience of freight forwarding operations
  4. Working knowledge of the operations procedure in the country
  5. Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures
