Job Description

  1. Support the Operations Management in all day-to-day activities.
  2. Coordinate with vendors & sub-contractors to get freight rates and all the costs on the shipment.
  3. Coordinate with the sales department in order to get the cost for their cost calculation.
  4. Inform all concerned parties of the shipment schedule/status.
  5. Handle delivery cargo-related documents and have the PODs on file.
  6. Responsible for order processing and invoicing related to customers.
  7. Ensure timely dispatch of all invoices to customers.
  8. Book and close all costs for the job.
  9. Prepare, maintain, and update documentation of processes to meet account requirements and changes in customer requirements.
  10. Analyze the current ordering, pricing, and planning for improving daily operations to achieve more accuracy, shorten lead time, and standardize processes.
  11. Deal with customer complaints on any invoice-related issues.
  12. Monitor supplier performance and seek opportunities for cost improvement.
  13. Ensure compliance with legal requirements (OHSAS and Environmental).
  14. Uphold the BDP “Experience” Vision.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from any stream.
  2. Minimum of one year experience in freight forwarding; a recognized supply chain or freight forwarding management qualification is advantageous but not required.
  3. Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  4. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
