As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Financial Controller to join our team. This is a high-impact role that will be crucial in managing the financial future of the company. About the Role We are looking for an accomplished Group Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our diverse portfolio of entities, including our Homes (Construction), Developments, and Property Management divisions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the construction and development sectors, with a proven ability to lead financial strategy across multiple entities and ensure sound financial management practices. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will be pivotal in driving the financial health and growth of the company. Key Responsibilities Oversee the financial management of key business entities, including Homes (Construction), Development projects, and Property Management. Collaborate with the CFO to develop financial strategies that maximise profitability and growth while minimising financial risks. Provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to the CFO, senior management, and key stakeholders. Develop and implement robust financial policies, controls, and procedures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with industry regulations. Monitor cash flow, profitability, and budgeting processes across the company’s various divisions. Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Drive strategic financial planning and forecasting to support business expansion and development goals. Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficient operations and continuous improvement. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the executive team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field; CA/CPA Qualified, or an equivalent accounting body; Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role, ideally in the construction and development industries. Strong understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Proven experience in managing financial operations across multiple entities. Proven experience in managing a team. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to navigate complex financial environments and make strategic, data-driven decisions. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards in the construction industry.
