Job Brief

The Business Integration Analyst (BIA) will be the key liaison between the customer’s business teams and the other members of the project delivery team. The position requires providing in-depth knowledge of the Gridstream product and working across departments including Development, Engineering, SQA, Product Management, and Project Management. The Business Integration Analyst is responsible for collecting business requirements and configurations from the customer’s business teams and configuring the product.

Biggest Challenges:

1. Providing integration consulting and business process definition.
2. Hands-on experience on the product to support customer requirements and perform data analysis.
3. Good understanding of the underlying product data models and ability to analyze large data sets.
4. Ensuring project documentation is current and working with Solution Architects to document all project customizations for hand-off.
5. Collaborating with Implementation and Project managers to ensure data Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are defined during project planning and consistently met through project hand-off stages.
6. Supporting testing and validating various integration interfaces within the customer's integration landscape.
7. Supporting the Quality Assurance team to validate test cases and support System validation.
8. Participating in response teams for root cause analysis of system problems identified in the deployment of company solutions.
9. Acting as the liaison to other business units within Landis+Gyr, as needed, to resolve and follow through on issues/defects.

What do we expect of you:

Education and Experience (include required Certifications, if any):

1. Bachelor's Degree in a job-related discipline required.
2. Utility experience highly preferred.
3. Background in software quality testing desired.

1. Strong analytical skills; able to complete methodical root cause analysis and troubleshoot technical issues.
2. Highly adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
3. Experience with Oracle database and good SQL skills.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Self-motivated, proactive, able to work under stressful conditions.
6. Demonstrate customer focus with proven ability to resolve customer issues appropriately.
7. Strong customer communication and service skills.
8. Excellent team player; self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.
9. Ability to plan and maintain schedules.
10. Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solving problems and obtaining solutions.
11. Ability to travel approximately 50%.
