About the Role Reporting to our Chief People Officer, this is a unique, and newly created executive leadership opportunity to shape CSIRO’s organisational development strategy, ensuring alignment with our objective to deliver world-leading science and innovation. As Director of Organisational Development, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of strategic people functions, enabling CSIRO to remain a global destination employer. Leading and mentoring high-performing teams to deliver impactful organisational development strategies aligned with CSIRO's objectives. Shaping CSIRO’s culture strategy, employee engagement, and talent management initiatives, including succession planning. Driving diversity, inclusion, and belonging programs to build a future-ready workforce. Leveraging people analytics to inform strategic decision-making and workforce transformation. Building and maintaining strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance CSIRO’s people agenda. Location: Melbourne (Clayton site), Canberra (Black Mountain site) preferred, other locations may be considered. Hybrid work and flexible options available. Salary: Attractive salary package + 15.4% superannuation, negotiable for the right candidate. Tenure: Specified Term of 3 years - Full-time. To be considered you will bring: Recognition as a leader in strategic organisational development within complex, large organisations. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholder groups, including boards and executive teams. Industry expert and proven experience in culture transformation, inclusion, leadership development and global talent acquisition strategies. Outstanding people leadership capabilities, with a track record of nurturing diverse teams and fostering collaboration. Experience and commitment to amplifying Indigenous voices and perspectives, ensuring self-determination and inclusion.
