What you’ll do:

  1. Research, map, and validate user journeys for our products with an emphasis on how language can increase adoption and improve onboarding.
  2. Serve as a content advocate for multiple projects, defining deliverables and providing definitive advice and interpretation of situations.
  3. Communicate messages relevant for projects in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to the team.
  4. Communicate clear functional requirements and targets.
  5. Effectively settle different functional perspectives.
  6. Find common ground for cooperation within the product UA team.
  7. Define terminology (simple, consistent, and conforms to industry standards).
  8. Share in-depth knowledge and experience with the direct team to enable decision-making.
  9. Work on complex technical projects or business issues requiring strong technical knowledge.
  10. Research and design knowledge architecture concepts and processes.
  11. Apply expert knowledge of customer requirements and product architecture, considering potential interdependencies between products when designing UA deliverables and innovation concepts.
  12. Lead user assistance projects, serve as a SME for development/User Assistance initiatives, and help mentor team members.
What you bring:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, UX Design, Computer Science, or any other related experience.
  2. Completion of SAP’s User Assistance - Design Information Architecture training.
  3. Experience as a Doc Lead.
  4. Extensive experience in information development, technical writing, support, or other forms of content development.
  5. Ideally first-language proficiency in English, or excellent written and spoken skills in English.
  6. Experience in serving as a content SME within a Development group.
  7. Extensive experience in technical writing along with experience in documenting end-to-end user experiences.
  8. The ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner.
  9. Outstanding communication, writing, and grammar skills.
  10. The ability to work within tight deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high quality.
  11. Flexibility and a readiness to communicate with other team members.
  12. Excellent organizational skills.
