The Fiscal Analyst is responsible to perform activities related to indirect taxes and withholding taxes procedures and all necessary tax compliance related to the current rules required by the tax authorities and in accordance with the company's operations and policies. It's include to perform tax calculations, tax reports, accounting postings and reconciliations, to attend tax audit by government, external and internal audits and to execute the internal controls procedures.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:- Work with direct managers to support financial activities, decision making and general projects.
- Provide support for stakeholders.
- Proactive action in reading, interpreting and applying the company's legislation and internal documents for operational decision-making and support for management decisions;
- To perform: ancillary obligations (REINF), accounting reconciliations, NFCM controls (SOx), accounting adjustments, financial actions, recurrent contact with the team that processes documents for payments;
- Contact with internal and external audits, internal controls, different types of stakeholders and Tax audits / inspections;
- Support in several routines in the tax operational area.
- Contribute to key projects.
- Complete Graduation in Accounting, Business Administration or related areas;
- Knowledge in SAP ECC is mandatory.
- Experience with SAP/Hana is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of withheld taxes.
- Knowledge of indirect taxes (ICMS/IPI) or direct taxes (Income Tax and CSLL) are a plus.
- Experience reading and interpreting legislation.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Operations Execution.
- Advanced English.
