Job Title: Intermediate/Senior Quantity Surveyor Contract Type: Permanent Recruitment Location: Auckland Specialisation: Construction, Architecture & Design REF: 129230 Contact Details: Matt Shortt Contact Email: matt.shortt@beyond.co.nz Job Published: 3 days ago This is a medium sized construction company delivering projects across commercial new builds, warehousing, large industrial, refurbishments, interiors and education type projects. They have decisive leadership at the top ensuring the business moves quickly to address arising issues and any problems. They have a strong organisational structure with performance and feedback regularly provided. They are family friendly and have a strong record of staff longevity. Due to one of their current QS returning overseas, they are now looking for a QS at the intermediate/senior level. Typically your duties will involve:

  • Preparing tenders, project administration, evaluating & costing of variations
  • Liaising with sub-contractors & clients
  • Financial reporting & cost monitoring / projection
  • Preparation, submission and negotiation of Interim and Final accounts
You will need to possess the following to apply:
  • A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
  • Experience working for a Main Contractor, at least 7 years ideally in NZ
  • Experience working on commercial projects over $10M in value
  • You are looking to grow and develop your career with a top contractor
  • You bring passion, motivation and a positive attitude
