We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Admin Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience to manage our systems and ensure optimal performance of our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting both physical and virtual servers, administering Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365, and patching server and workstation environments. You'll be tasked with diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, supervising an operations team, and ensuring smooth deployment of new applications. Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain both physical and virtual servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365, including user role assignments and patching of servers and workstations.
- Oversee the configuration and management of internal systems and environments.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Lead and mentor the operations team, ensuring smooth deployment of new applications and upgrades to IT infrastructure devices.
- Install and configure servers, devices, and firewalls while ensuring security and compliance with best practices.
- Track and manage system vendors service level agreements, licenses, and expirations.
- Monitor performance of hardware, software, and server infrastructures proactively.
- Design, implement and document monitoring tools and configuration management practices.
- Ensure server infrastructure security through best practices in privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain and develop technical documentation for current environment setup, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration.
- Experienced in managing systems, servers, and data centers.
- Proficient with MS SQL Server, Windows clustering, domain controller setup, and group policy management.
- Strong experience with high-end physical servers, Virtual VMware, Hypervisor, and cloud technologies.
- Skilled in troubleshooting Microsoft and Linux server operating systems.
- Familiarity with security products, including AM, MOM Solutions, Disk Encryption, DLP, and Internet Gateway Security.
- Experience with SSL Offloading, GSM Technologies, and regulations such as WAI 15 and ASM.
- Knowledge of best practices for system backups, disaster recovery, and documentation.
